Friendly Letters to Cereal Box Characters

I just finished my friendly letter writing unit...
What happens when you add me  (pictured  below in my favorite chair)  and a whole bunch of cereal (pictured below that) together???

!!!!!!!!

Think outside the box (Ha!) for Friendly Letter Writing.
Teach friendly letter writing to primary students by writing to cereal box characters.  You remember your Saturday morning cartoon watching with Snap, Crackle & Pop, Lucky the Leprechaun, Tony the Tiger and many more!  When you combine eating cereal with writing to the characters on the box, students won’t put their pencils down.

This unit includes additional cereal and writing activities as I just couldn’t help myself!

My inspiration??? An entire box of Rise Krispies Treats while I worked. Yikes!
