Classroom Organization & Decor

If you're anything like me, you're in total clean, organize, and prepare for next year mode.  This time of year is definitely bittersweet because I will miss this group of students and they have all taught me things this year that are priceless.  However, it's so refreshing to be able to start all over again next year.  I fully believe that if other professions had the chance to take a break, get re-organized, and reflect on their job, that the world would be a happier place.  Really, look at teachers, most of us adore our "jobs" and spend many many personal hours working on becoming better at it. Even given all this extra time we put  in, most fabulous teachers I know still love going to work everyday.

In order to make your life a little easier I have begun making classroom themed sets to get you organized and just plain adorable! I have big plans for this project and I am currently taking any requests.  Please e-mail me at teachitwithclass@gmail.com.

I just posted these 2 adorable themed units in my Teachers Pay Teachers Store.
Lights, Camera, Teach!

Classroom Camping Themed Decor

Both kits include a complete calendar set, multiple number label options, class welcome sign, table signs, basket labels, large classroom number posters, student name tags, teacher organization and supply labels, classroom library labels and much more!!!  To see the full details, please click on any picture.

I am working on coordinating word wall, alphabets, bulletin board pieces and class rules.  Please check back often or e-mail me if you don't see what you need.

I've made another freebie for you! I hope that you have enjoyed my week of teacher appreciation ideas and that you have shared the love with other teachers.  I would have love to have posted items sooner but I just couldn't do it and ruin the surprise for my girls (first grade team)! If you weren't able to use them this year, I hope you can use them next year.
I also want to scream a huge THANK YOU for all of your support on TPT during the sale this week.  There were so many wonderful sweet comments and each one means so much.  Also, for anyone who was worried, I didn't lose any children today but I sure am one exhausted teacher tonight!

Teacher Appreciation Day 3 (FREEBIE)

Teacher Appreciation Day 3
This particular gift is very specific to my school but I made one with a teacher quote just for you!  I got all  creative and did my own little rhyme for my personal one. At our school, our ISS teacher has a cooler full of ice and she puts pop (soda for anyone who's not sure what pop is) in it each day.  The money goes to our Relay for Life donation.  It seems so simple, but we are always scrounging around for 2 quarters to buy an ice cold pop.  For today's gift, I included 4 quarters and some candy.  I sprung for the good stuff ~CHOCOLATE! Hey, it's the end of the year...we  have to get there on something...it may as well  be caffeine and chocolate!

For the FREE download tag, it reads:
Teacher: Overworked and under-rated but very much APPRECIATED!

Teacher Appreciation Jackpot

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, and Sunday, May 6th is sure to be your lucky day! I'm excited to announce the very first Teacher Appreciation Jackpot, an amazing "blog hop" event involving over 130 bloggers!
The fabulous bloggers involved in this Jackpot want to show their appreciation for you in a BIG way.  So we've all agreed to give away one of our TeachersPayTeachers products for free on that day! Each free gift will be valued at between $3 and $8, so the total jackpot amount is estimated to be over $500! We'll post the actual amount on Saturday, May 5th.
Because so many bloggers are participating, this event will be divided into three grade level groups. Each of those smaller events is being coordinated by one blogger as shown below:
You can see the link up at the bottom of this post.
Thanks so much for all you do! We appreciate your commitment to your students and your dedication as an educator!
